My name is Lizzie, and I am a Fortune Financial Personal & Business Protection Adviser offering financial peace of mind to individuals, families and business owners in mainly Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. I pride myself in offering a friendly professional service to all my customers, providing their whole family or company with financial security.

I joined Fortune Financial after having my daughter as I wanted to go self-employed to allow myself more freedom to work and be a mum. I chose Fortune Financial as the team have a real passion for what they do, they offer excellent client service, and they take great care to go above and beyond for their customer.

I offer personal protection advise on a variety of protection policies, including life insurance in the form of mortgage protection, family protection and funeral cover, income protection, critical illness cover, children’s life cover and children’s critical illness cover. I ensure all life cover policies are written into trust to ensure the benefit amount pays out quickly, and to the right people.

For me one of the most important policies available for a personal client is income protection. This essentially protects your monthly income by replacing your salary with a benefit payable monthly whilst you are off work due to injury, sickness or disability. Your cover will enable you to continue paying your bills and keep a roof over your head whilst you are off work and not earning, enabling you to fully focus on your health without financial pressure.

I have a real passion for arranging business protection covers for business owners, these include relevant life insurance, executive income protection, key person insurance, to name a few. I can also help with employee benefit schemes as well, which can be a key component to any company retaining staff long term.

Relevant life insurance is a cover that can be paid for out of company profits and therefore can potentially reduce your corporation tax. The benefit of this cover is that the payout is paid personally so the life insurance provides protection to your family and loved ones in the event of your death.

Executive income protection is another policy that can be paid for out of company profits and benefit from the potential corporation tax savings. This cover protects your monthly income out of the business and ensures you can continue to take a personal income out of the business if you are unable to work due to injury, sickness or disability.

Key person is another gem of a product as it protects the most important people in your business which usually starts with protecting you. It is a benefit payable into the business to allow you to recruit a temporary replacement for yourself if you are unable to work due to injury, sickness or disability. This will ensure you have a business to return to if you are unable to work for a period.

I met my best friend and husband 10 years ago and we will have been married for 7 years in 2025. I am also a mum to my daughter Amelia, son Noah and dog Red.

My family are my motivation, and my protection advice role within Fortune Financial has given me an amazing work life balance and the ability to work around my children, so I don’t miss out on them growing up.

In my spare time I keep fit by walking our dog Red and exercising. I also like spending time out in the garden where I grow some of my own vegetables. I also enjoy knitting and crochet.
